About
Kensev was brought to life by me, Floris van Bommel (born in 1998) shortly after completing the Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship at the University of Amsterdam. During that time, I realized a drive to continue philosophising, developing self-awareness and working on what I truly believe in, instead of conforming to an inherently selfish and unconscious system. My master’s thesis explored how entrepreneurs use systems thinking in the agri-food sector, which appears to affect all 17 SDG goals. This research topic surfaced during my internship at Fresh Ventures Studio, where I was inspired by the concept of ”systems thinking” to deal with complex issues. Since then, I am looking for ways to further develop and specialize around this concept, as I am convinced that a society-wide, deep mindset change is needed navigate through our 21st-century reality. As kensev is meant to be a lifelong and ever-evolving project, most of the work is mainly for myself but also whoever interested. The purpose of kensev is to express thoughts and empower a deep, lasting shift in thinking in those open to it. Be aware of any inner resistance and judgements, as kensev might challenge conventional thinking. Blogs published contain philosophical concoctions about a variety of topics, providing an opportunity to discover a new perspective.
