About
kensev was brought to light by me, a 26-year-old idealist based in Amsterdam, shortly after completing the Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship at the University of Amsterdam. During that time, I realized a strong drive to continue philosophising, developing self-awareness and working on what I truly believe in, instead of conforming to an inherently selfish, unconscious and capitalist system. My master thesis discovered how entrepreneurs use systems thinking to achieve the 17 SDG goals (in the context of agri-food sector, which seems most important to achieve all goals). This research topic surfaced during my internship at Fresh Ventures Studio, where I was inspired by the concept of ”systems thinking”. Since then, I am looking for ways to further develop and specialise around this concept, as I am convinced that a society-wide, deep mindset change is needed to deal with our 21st-century reality.
While kensev is meant to be a lifelong, ever-evolving project to leave meaningful impact on the world, most of the work here is mainly for myself and whoever is interested. The main purpose of kensev is to express my thoughts and empower a deep, lasting shift in thinking in those open to it. The themes coming back at kensev are simplicity, honesty and naturalness. kensev is committed to make the least use of marketing, fast growth and sales tactics etc., as this is the opposite of what kensev stands for. Therewith, the layout and style of this website might be different to what one’s used to. Be aware of any inner resistance and judgements, as kensev might challenge conventional thinking. My blogs will contain philosophical concoctions about a broad variety of topics, providing an opportunity to discover your own new perspective.
Light is to be found in the dark.
