A new perspective
Since we are constrained by bounded reality, we think and act unconsciously and biased, unable to take into account the broader perspective when trying to solve problems. Despite good intentions, this way of thinking often offers overly optimistic ''temporary fixes'' to deep and complex issues, which can even cause results opposite to the desired outcome. Instead, the answer seems to lie in developing a systems change mindset, seeing things holistically and interconnected by recognizing the seven features of systems: interdependency, level-multiplicity, dynamism, path dependency, self-organization, non-linearity and complex causality.
